Defence Equipment

Tricon Defence is active in the research & development, design, development and manufacture of a range of products and sub-systems which fulfill niche capability requirements in naval and land warfare related areas. These include our BullAnt Unmanned Ground Vehicle, MAG-58/M240 Ammunition Containment System (MACS) and the Uni-Rack range of flexible weapon racking. An innovative device to improve helicopter occupant safety is currently under development for a high-profile customer.

The company also specialises in the customisation and modification of selected existing equipment, thereby ensuring a cost-effective, tailored fit to meet requirements.

Manufacture and Assembly

Tricon Defence undertakes assembly and light manufacture of sub-systems and components at its Sydney premises for a variety of in-house products, enabling it to make full use of the capabilities resident in a select pool of local sub-contractors and proven supply chain.

Bid and OEM Support

Tricon Defence fulfills the role of project manager and principal local manager in support of tender preparations and bid development by OEMs currently involved in or seeking to become involved in capital defence equipment acquisition programs for the Australian Defence Force via the Defence Materiel Organisation tendering process. Specific services provided include tender writing, bid preparation, documentation support and contract negotiation support.
